aNiMe LoVe

Sigh, I finally reached the part of my IA where all the paper work is screaming to be cleared…… Will update this blog next week when I got my CLANNAD DVDs.

I started the sketches last dec, with the Matrix Reloaded as my inspiration. Initially, I drew and color her flying over a city, but then after coloring halfway, i found everything to be too disorganised. As such, using the StrikerS OP scene of Erio flying, the end result is as shown. I decided to wrap this up after spending 4 months coloring in my free time, which is not much. Going to start on another fanart soon; maybe Allen Walker or Golden Darkness (Yami Yami ^^) from to love-ru (I seem to have a thing for blondes with red eyes).

After more than 2 months of playing, I finally managed to complete my first eroge, Fortune Arterial with my half past 6 japanese skills (i can’t read half of the conversations in the eroge). I first heard of it from Dannychoo and decided to try it when I heard from somewhere this visual novel from August is good, and got a copy from “you-know-where”. Now that I completed it, I am glad that to say that it is worth my time.

This will be a short post: the official site for CLANNAD has announced that for DVD vol 8 (to be released in July), the bonus episode will be dedicated to Tomoyo’s arc in the original visual novel. For those living in Japan, you guys get to see that episode before the release of the DVD. Check the official site for more details.

Seems that the manga covered nearly everything, or should I said summarise? lol, anyway, for those who wants to know what happened in that story. BTW, the manga seems to be following the original PC visual novel ending (It’s damn sad…..)

This came with my last Nanoha StrikerS DVD again. I must say, these limited edition’s extras are pretty good.

I finally dragged my lazy arse to the cinema yesterday to watch Evangelion 1.0 You Are Not Alone. I am happy to say that I am glad that I watched it; the cgi scenes are good, the actions are good, story is enjoyable though it’s only 25% of the whole series and it’s rather rare (at least for me) to watch anime on the big screen and the volume turned all the way up (my ears were suffering during some of the last angel scenes though). I never watched the original TV series though, as some of my friends said that the series is rather confusing and the ending is like “wtf?”, so I can’t really do a comparison. But there are some changes to some scenes; as I read part of the manga before, I can tell that the last angel’s fight in the movie is changed. But no complains there

So if you are in Singapore, stop wasting ur time and go watch it ( I hope that they generate enuff takings to bring in the next 3)

My DVD 3 came in this huge box along with my Nanoha DVD 8 two weeks ago but I was a bit too busy for blogging these days -_-|||
