I finally dragged my lazy arse to the cinema yesterday to watch Evangelion 1.0 You Are Not Alone. I am happy to say that I am glad that I watched it; the cgi scenes are good, the actions are good, story is enjoyable though it’s only 25% of the whole series and it’s rather rare (at least for me) to watch anime on the big screen and the volume turned all the way up (my ears were suffering during some of the last angel scenes though). I never watched the original TV series though, as some of my friends said that the series is rather confusing and the ending is like “wtf?”, so I can’t really do a comparison. But there are some changes to some scenes; as I read part of the manga before, I can tell that the last angel’s fight in the movie is changed. But no complains there 
So if you are in Singapore, stop wasting ur time and go watch it ( I hope that they generate enuff takings to bring in the next 3)

the anime ending sucked, so they had the remake. personally, weren’t you lost when u watch the anime? LOL. I think the anime in the early stages covered parts which the movie wasn’t able to (like duh, only 1 hour+!)
