Odex got screwed in this case, though Pacnet in a way as well; PacNet has to turn the names of the downloaders over to the Japanese companies directly,not to Odex. This could mean that in the future, the anime dlers will still be screwed one way or another.

On the other hand, Odex got nothing in a sense….. if they just spend their time and resources on their products instead of just getting names, BAH.

 BTW, it’s STILL ILLEGAL TO dl fansubs. For the so-called ‘unlicensed’ animes, you can still be sued; whether you will be sued is up to the studio/ company owning that particular title.
